Rita Ponce, Ph.D.

Rita holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Lisbon, in Portugal, and is a Professor in the Life Sciences Department of Universidade Lusófona, in Portugal. She developed her Master's research at the University of Rochester, her Ph.D. research at Harvard, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at cE3c, in Lisbon. Recently, she obtained a second Master's — in Science Communication — from Nova University, in Lisbon. Her favorite plants to eat are arugula, carrots, and all fruits.
