Alexandra holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lisbon, Portugal, and has been a Professor of Cell and Molecular Biology for more than 15 years. She currently works at Egas Moniz — Cooperativa de Ensino Superior in Portugal. Alex conducted her Ph.D. training at Tufts School of Medicine, Boston, MA, and her master’s degree training at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She holds a second master’s in Science Communication from Nova University in Lisbon, Portugal. Her favorite plants to eat are carrots and spinach.
