Gut microbiome score

Get a clear picture of how well your gut supports your overall health and how to improve it with mindful eating.

Accurate, personalised nutrition guidance

Our Gut Health Test spans a precise 0-1000 scale, offering granular feedback and making it easy to track progress over time. The ZOE App gives you personalised food recommendations based on these insights.

Gut boosters and gut suppressors

ZOE shows members which “gut booster” foods may nourish their specific beneficial microbes, and the “gut suppressor” foods to eat less often.

Gut bug clusters and health markers

ZOE members don’t just get a gut health score — they get a window into the powerful “gut bug clusters” shaping their health. ZOE has identified 4 key gut bug clusters (see above).

Groups of gut microbes

Our scientists have identified distinct clusters of gut microbes that are linked to key areas of metabolic health, including inflammation, fat distribution and heart health.

“Good” and “bad” gut bugs

Your microbiome score measures the balance of 50 "good" and 50 "bad" gut bacteria identified by ZOE scientists for their connection to key positive and negative health markers. It’s based on advanced DNA sequencing of your gut microbiome.

ZOE is the most-loved and most-trusted at-home health test brand*.

*Survey of over 500 UK consumers who have previously purchased at-home health tests. Participants were asked about 9 leading UK at-home health test providers.
